Founded in 2004, Saving Joy is a community volunteer based organization made up of those who have a love for all people.  We seek to help those in need, near and far.  The help that we provide may take the form of a food donation, a party to celebrate the achievements of homeless families, a hug, and traveling on mission trips to support our brothers and sister in other countries.  That said, we believe in starting in our community and it is the Maryland, DC and Virginia area that we serve.  Our volunteers are made up all different ages because we believe that anyone may serve and help their fellow human being.  Our goal to save "joy" helping to put a smile back on those who we serve face.
